Giving is a joyful experience.

Tithing

Tithing was the setting aside of a part of your crop so people that needed it could harvest and eat it or sell it as they chose. It was not a requirement to give money to an organization or preacher to pay for lavish life styles or creating buildings. Give an offering to those that need it, and not to any organized religion.
